LoanPilot is a free browser-based loan planning website. We designed the calculator so the figures you enter are processed locally on your device.

What we process

Loan amounts, rates, terms, fees, optional extra payments, and payment dates are used in browser memory to calculate results. The website does not send calculator form inputs to a LoanPilot backend or require an account. Cloudflare, which hosts the website, may process normal web requests and request metadata.

Local storage

The LoanPilot calculator stores your preferred website language in your browser's local storage to restore it on future visits. Google advertising services may use cookies or similar identifiers, subject to applicable consent rules. You can remove stored data through your browser settings.

Sharing a calculation

When you select “Copy shareable calculation link,” your entered values are included in that link's query parameters. Anyone with the link can read those values. The URL may also be recorded by the browser, the hosting provider, or services through which you share it. Do not share it if the information is sensitive.

Third-party services and advertising

LoanPilot uses Google AdSense advertising code. Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to display ads based on your visits to LoanPilot and other websites, subject to applicable law and consent choices. Google and its partners may process information about your visit, device, and interactions for advertising purposes. LoanPilot does not intentionally send the loan amounts, interest rates or other calculator inputs to Google AdSense, though shared calculation URLs may contain this information; avoid sharing sensitive details. You can manage personalized ad preferences at Google My Ad Center and learn how Google uses information at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Depending on your region, an additional consent interface may be provided. Google advertising may not be shown unless the site is approved and advertising is enabled in AdSense.

Data retention and security

We do not maintain a database of submitted loan calculations. Your browser may retain visited URLs in history; shared links could be recorded by the services you use to send them.

Your choices

You can reset the calculator, clear your local language preference and cookies using browser controls, manage personalized ad preferences through Google My Ad Center, and avoid generating a sharing link. Please use your browser's controls to delete browsing history when needed.
